If you really took a producing class and emersed yourself in it, yet found no one in that group to keep in touch with now that you are resolute in making your film...

    ...you have already failed.

In another topic post you stated you could not find any talented help in the NYC area. I'm not from NYC yet I found that comment a bit offensive.

If you have an open mind to suggestions, I would suggest the following.

Find a film project that ran out of money, needs very little money to finish, and figure out how you can help them finish their film while absorbing every bit of info you can about their project.

The following will happen, the small amount of money you invest in this other project will pay itself back ten-fold toward your own production.

You will make friends and be a hero to others while benefiting yourself via knowledge and exprience, you really can't lose.

You will probably make excellent distribution contacts while learning about Production & Post-Production success stories & failures.

Why be Offen I just place one Ad in the papper,I have not givin up I have found other place to put my Ads. No I am working on my own Project I have already started on it. You Assume I don't know Filmmaking at all, look I stuff to learn and I will learn. But I got the Production Co,the script is being work on,the star of the movie is pick and is in training for the film, It has start. I just wanted to get a idea on the digital part. You have to take risk the easy way leaves to a boring life.I am not saying be a fool ,but take risk. It's a risk if """I lose it is money so what."""" I would have learn alot and I just do it again. If I got to work at MacDonalds to get the money I will. I want give up until I get it right!!!

And with that, the voice of reason is once again overpowered. Sigh.

Regardless, if you're ever in Ireland Brenda, make sure to look me up. Id get a cinema screening with 100,000.

I hate to bring it up because it sounds stupid but are you all aware of Kevin Smiths debut? I cant remember the amount of credit cards he took out for that one? Well it was a lot.

But if I had that much to spend no way would I want to use digital. Definately 35mm.

Good luck to you, I admire your determination.

    Hey there.

A 90 minute feature shot on 35mm for 100 grand. Hmmm....... Good look.

You will struggle doing it on 16mm black and white for that price.

    Despin out.
